E-Library Facilities

Salem Sowdeswari College provides E-librar facilities for Students.These facilities provide video sharing community of education. It allows the various channels about various subjects.The students get a unique opportunity to acquaint themselves and to acquire superior knowledge. The main objective of the E-library facility is the student gains the freedom to learn without restrictions, student becomes an independent thinker, student learns to accept responsibility and students learn where to go when help is needed

Book Materials

Salem Sowdeswari College supports student learning every step of the way. Each student can get extensive study materials for individual subjects in printed book format. These materials are prepared by our college staffs. The course materials are provided for all UG and PG students. These materials are unique and simple. These book materials are based on university exam and clear understanding of the subjects. The College is very keen for every student to receive the learning support they need.

Teaching Aids

Our staff members effectively use a projector in the computer lab to teach lab programs and orientation class for MS Office and internet usage. The staffs can make use of Power Point presentations, images and even film as teaching tools through the use of projectors. In future we have planned to use the projector in the class room also.

Online Examination

Our college regularly conducting on line exam for both UG & PG students. Students can choose the subject that will be tested and the student start answering the questions that is shown on the screen. After they have finished the examination, the students can view their result. The results are instant and accurate.

Salem Sowdeswari College (SSC) was founded in 1975 by Dr. J.K.K. Angappa Chettiar and Amarar Thiru. T.N.K. Govindaraju Chettiar, under the management of Sri Sowdeswari Mahajana Charitable Trust.
